We've had a lot of fun with the corrupted wishes game, but it seems to be winding down, so I thought I'd see if people were up for another one. This one is taken from that most excellent radio show I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue -- "the antidote to panel games," as it describes itself.

The idea is simple: players alternate statements beginning with "Good news" and "Bad news"; obviously, the statements have to be connected, making a sort of plot (connected to L&C, one would hope), and preferably funny. I'll give you an example:

"Good news! Lex Luthor's dead."
"Bad news: it was only one of his clones."
"Good news: it was the last of his clones."
"Bad news: he can make more."
"Good news: he's run out of frogs and can't get any more of them."
"Bad news: he's discovered how to use leeches instead."
"Good news: leech-clones are easy to spot, because they're all covered in slime."
"Bad news: that still means he can clone politicians."

...and so on. I think you get the idea. Up for it? Let's start right from the beginning, shall we?

Good news: Perry White just made Lois and Clark partners.

Bad news: Clark hates Lois.

Yes, I went for the twist.

Good News: But it is only the result of a misunderstanding.

Bad news: Clark won't talk to Lois about the misunderstanding because he can't hear (let alone say) the words "Luthor," "wedding," and "love" in the same sentence.

Good news: I just saved a bunch of mone -- oops. Never mind. Not my turn.

Good news: A lovely woman by the name of Mayson Drake happened along and has no trouble talking with Clark and taking his mind of Lois and Lex.

Ya know, I'm not sure if this qualifies as good news. But I think I'll leave it anyway.

Bad News: After being with Mayson, Clark realises he's gay.

Good news Clark only said that to get rid of Mayson so he can be with Lois

Bad News: Luthor is gay and isn't just saying that he's gay in order to get rid of someone, he knows The Secret, wants Superman, and has Krytonite.....

Good News: Lois spills the beans about Lex, and being the most eligible bachelor in Metropolis again since Lois is out of the picture, Lex is swarmed by guys who want to be with him. Since he is otherwise occupied, evil kryptonite master plan is off and Clark is free to be with Lois.

Long, I know. Sorry.

Good News: Clark hired an elephant to protect her.

Bad News: Luthor's favourite rare book shop just called -- they finally found a copy of that ancient Indo-Aryan tome 101 Things To Do With A Friendly Elephant Or An Elephant You'd Like To Become Friendly With (it's more succinct in Sanskrit).

(I'm beginning to think this thread will need to go to the nfic folder.... )

Good News: Clark had Lois' elephant ram raid the shop and had the elephant chew the book up before giving it to Luthor so now all that's left is a tiny piece of the cover. Oh and did I also mention that Luthor can't read Sanskrit?

Bad news: Luthor got so depressed because of his confusion over his being gay and yet loving Lois that he killed himself and ruined our little soap opera. And there are no clones, he can't be bought back and he had no children as he was in his words "the only gay in Metropolis....."

Good news: Tempus came around, so the game can go on

Good News: He can't make Lois into UW without Superman and as he's shacked up with you in a secret location in Hawaiei (sp?) you're safe...

Bad News: Superman gets attacked and killed by Lana Lang/Martha Kent with kryptonite because she can't stand having undergone the rather sick transformation from girlfriend to mother....

Is anyone else sick of Smallville yet, or is it just me?

On a serious note, bad news: Clark is sick after looking at your "Emerald Collection"....

Good News: You get to "nurse" him back to health.

Bad News: Dr. Friskin reminds him how much Lois cares for him, even if she wasn't the one who nursed him back to health. Maybe she can help him through this.

GoodNews: Lois has run off with a Mr D. Thorn, who works his mojo on her after he tires of her babbling.....

Bad News: Clark is suicidal with guilt now....

Good News: You get to "help" him trhough it.....


And an extra 10 points for the first person to tell me who DT is, and his first name, and prove that you didn't use the internet to find the answer, although any other means of research is fine. Just a small challenge for you all......

Bad News: Clark has just flown off and rescued Lois from Thorn.

Good News: It's not really a bad thing after all, and Lois & Clark are happily reunited (and it feels so good) .

Bad News: If you want Lois and Clark to be happy together, you're going to have to give up your Clark fantasy.

Good news: I find the clone, he's still alive, and we skip off to live happily ever after bwaha!
(AND I get to be happy with one of my favorite couples! YAY!!)

Bad news: the clone is one of those with a very short lifespan.

Good News: Dr. Klein is on the verge of finding a way to fix his DNA and give him a longer life span (unlike poor Lois clone).
