Nice story, Lois is conflicted about her feelings for Clark.
And as to Clark, he could perfectly have changed into the suit in time to save Lois, but the question was, did he really want to change into the suit? The whole episode he was being laughed at that he wasn’t good enough to bodyguard for Lois. Maybe he wanted Lois to know the truth…
