smile - hehe I just read part one and then discovered part two!
What a fabulous part. My eyes were wide while quickly reading, trying to absorb as much of Lois' anguish as possible.

So maybe he was Joe Smith, or Bill Jones, or that bastard freak-of-nature Dick Clark. He could be a dozen people with a dozen different lives and a dozen different jobs and a dozen different best friends. He could be anyone.
As heart broken as I am for Lois, this made me giggle. laugh Great stuff!

I like the fact that Clark followed her home. Very sweet and like him.

But she had pulled away from him before he knew what was happening and stormed out with tears in his eyes.
In his eyes? Ah! thumbsup

I can hardly wait for more!

...what only three parts!!! thud

Yikes, its just so dangerous for any mackage to happen while Clark is with the suit. smile His naivete shines again. Kudos for the Primal Screaming, that sounds so Lois-like. I kind of feel sorry for the neighbors. Either way, I'm looking forward to see how this resolves itself.

ROTFLMAO! I just laughed out loud when I read that. Great line! Oh and poor Lois but I feel even worse for Clark. frown Make them better soon. Laura

Oh, and we're back to Dick Clark. Killer.

I do feel sorry for Lois. Quite the angsty little part you've churned out here (excellent!).

Here's hoping for a resolution, perhaps before Lois throws too many things.

That was great! So sad.

Awww! I love that.

Sweet and wellwritten. I just wonder who is Dick Clark?

Great part, can't wait for part 3. I loved how you described Lois anger. I could really feel with her.

I liked the scene with the pepsi can.

The way he touched her, the way his lips moved on hers had been glorious, sensuous. But now she's like nothing more than to grab those sensuous lips of his, wrap them around his neck and strangle him with them.
My goodness, what an image you put in my mind! I almost wanted to sketch it, but, you know, better not.... goofy (You should probably write "she'd like", though.)

This is beautifully written, and you give us a delightful portrait of Lois. Over the top, but delightful. Personally, I've often thought that Clark gets away too easily with lying. This time, however - oh, boy!!! Like many others here, I loved Lois's Primal Scream therapy. I loved her tolerant neighbours, too. I just hope that Lois makes sure not to scream, not even into her pillow, after 10 p.m.!

I, too, wonder about this Dick Clark person. Who's he? And the idea that Clark could be anyone, seeing that he had been lying about himself, so that he could be

well, that's just irresistibly delightful!

And poor Clark, catching the crystal star that he had given Lois, to prevent it from breaking into a thousand little pieces. Let's hope his heart won't be broken in the last and final part of this!!!

Thanks for all the kind feedback, it really is wonderful to read, and very motivating.

A couple of you have asked who Dick Clark is, so I will do my best to answer. The best way I can think of to describe him is that he's kind of like a male version of Joan Rivers. He's practically ancient, and has had so much plastic surgery that he looks like a very frightening doll. Kind of like Chucky. Only not really. Every year he hosts the New Years Rockin' Eve party in Times Square before the ball drops at midnight. He's generally really perky and smily and annoying.

He frightens me.

Anyway, I should have part three up sometime tomorrow. Thanks for you patience.
