Seriously, though, Dave...

Whether or not there's more to the story (you know you want to write more), it kills just the way it is! (Though you should write more!) It's heartbreaking... and every time I read it, I find (myself wanting more) something new that wrenches my heart.

And... since I'm supposed to be writing, that's it for now.

One of the features I like best about your stories, Dave, is your innovative use of language. You paint word pictures that have me nodding in agreement because they capture the facts of life.
