Thanks for an excellent chapter! Lois is right. Clark
needs to go back to find out what happened. With the help of Lois and Houdini, anything is possible. Clark feeling a little happiness at the end, warmed my heart. I love this universe and can’t wait for next Friday!!

Looking forward to the next installment!!

I am loving this series! Looking forward to seeing what happens between Lois and Clark now that she knows what's going on. And seeing them solve the mystery of what was in that cave, I assume smile Thank you!

I feel like we're getting super close to solving Clark’s problem smile1
I really really hope Lois gets to the bottom of it and they fix it! And then Clark can really start living! ^_^
Can't wait for the next part hyper

Well, I do have a plan how they're going to solve Clark's problem. Though I'm not entirely sure how close they really are. This might take a couple of Fridays more ...

Hi Barbara!

Then he lowered his glasses, focused on the water, shook his head as he thought better of it and pushed his glasses back up.
Worried he might burn the water?
LOIS: hey, that’s a real thing!

and I’m not going to run away screaming either like you seem to believe I would.”
At least till he asks her to watch the stove for a minute while he freshens up.

I never imagined I could tell anyone that I’m an alien and not have them look at me as if I grew a second head and a spare set of arms.”
Poor guy, never expected to become part of the monster with two backs, which happens to also have a second head and a spare set of arms.
LOIS: I wouldn’t call them ‘spare’…

She grinned. “As far as I can tell, you grew no extra appendages. Though Houdini might appreciate it if you did because the poor dog is still waiting for you to pet him.”
Cute!

. “So there was a time when your powers weren’t out of your control?”

He nodded and took another sip of tea.

“What happened?”
Oh. Looky there!

Clark gave her a brief shrug. “The whole story or just the gist of it?”

She shook her head and rolled her eyes. “You really have to ask?”
Still adorable clap

“My parents were pretty open with me about the way they found me
“A sparkle fell from the sky and landed in a cabbage field when we got there. We found a baby.”

Clark felt peace settle upon him. Right in this moment, life was good.
Awwww…and in horror Stories, that’s when the alien bursts forth from the stomach peep

And it’s Friday again in just two more sleeping times hyper

You sound like my four year-old. And now you have me wondering, if that's an actual expression in English too, or just the translated version. I may have to ask on Discord.

On a funny note, my son says that he needs to sleep backwards a couple of days when he's talking about something that happened in the past. lol

Anyway, thank you all for reading this and leaving feedback. I'll post the next part tomorrow. Just one more sleeping time wink

“I just want to get this right the first time, because I’m not sure I’ll get another chance,” he blurted out. “This - you - I’d never imagined that anything like this was possible. I mean, even before my powers went completely out of whack I never expected I could tell anyone who I really am and have them be okay with it. I never imagined I could tell anyone that I’m an alien and not have them look at me as if I grew a second head and a spare set of arms.”

Ahhhhh! I love this! FEELS!

Clark wondered if he’d ever felt this at ease. Any remnants of the tension that had made him so restless was gone. He picked up her heartbeat that was a welcome addition to the sounds that surrounded him - the gentle breeze of the wind, the soft sounds of pleasure that now and again escaped Houdini’s throat.

GAHHH!! I love this!!

… off to read the next part…
