OMG! Santaman! Too funny. And I can imagine kids actually having this conversation minus the Superman part. Great job.

Thank you, CarrieRene!

While that was not exactly what I imagined...
I totally don't mind because it was hilarious!
Jon and Lilly are so fun and they totally are Lois and Clark's kids, you can read that in their words and behavior.
And Clark's "solution" to the argument is just priceless too.
I really enjoyed it and it gave me a good chuckle.

Hi Anna!
Looking forward to finding out how things turned out!
Quote
**The Truth About Santa** “There is no Santa!”
laugh

Quote
There’s not, and I know there’s not because I’m older and smarter –”
That’s gotta be Lois and Lucy. Or Clark and Lois. No, Clark’s the older one and he's too smart to think he's the smarter one.

Quote
“– I’m smarter and I can read books and I read a book that said there’s no Santa.”
Not so smart. Can't even read correctly. Every book in their shelf says that Santa is real. Just look at the pictures. Plus all the films about him.

Quote
Jon, indignant, shot up from under his blanket and sat up on his bed, arms crossed. “No book says that!”
No way, it really is the Kent kids?

Quote
Well it said that the North Pole is all frozen and it had pictures and there was no sign of Santa’s workshop.”
That’s because it’s transdimensional…

Quote
Maybe it’s under the ice!”
Yes! There’s an entire lizard civilization living under the surface. There’s also been movies about that.

Quote
Lily scrunched her nose in disbelief. “It can’t be under the ice. Where would the reindeer go? Under the ice it’s the sea and there are only fish.”
Santa’s North Pole is actually a colony from Atlantis. Santa’s a cephalopod. Explains how he can get through the tightest chimneys.

Quote
But then, if there’s no Santa, who brings the presents?”
Mommy’s friend, the Amazon delivery guy.

Quote
Maybe Superman,” she said eventually. “He’s strong, and he can fly. He can carry lots of presents.”
Yeah, okay. That’s true. Dad probably gets their presents while Mommy’s tied up at work.
Queenie did something in that direction: Family Man of Steel: Errands

Quote
And now Superman is giving out the presents instead.
Ehhhhh…

Quote
I just want my present in the stocking. If I don’t get a present in my stocking, it’s your fault.” Lily scoffed at him and dove under her blanket too.
Just make it rain. Don’t care how laugh

Quote
She sighed in relief. If her kids were such night owls at their age, she didn’t even want to imagine what they’d do once they hit their teens.
Don’t worry. They will be out partying all night. Enough time for super nookie.

Quote
Clark walked over to the wardrobe and pulled out the small wrapped presents hidden on the top shelf, behind boxes of comics. “Just the tags.”
*G* Won’t the kids find them behind those boxes when they dig for comics?

Quote
No, there are more letters.” Lily grabbed the tag and read out loud, slowly and carefully. “‘From Santaman’.”
shock The special man who gets to play with Mrs Claus.

Quote
Lily studied her package for a moment, then she tore it open to find the exact doll she had asked Santa for – a red-haired witch with all the relevant accessories. “At least he got my letter,” she mumbled.

Oh, this was an adorably great ficlet!
