This piece came to me almost the moment I read the Bizarro Challenge.

As always, all feedback welcomed.

p.s., I know that, technically speaking, Jonathan and Martha know and understand Clark. But he was thinking in terms of non-family members, and I was thinking that adding any such qualifiers to the piece would just weaken it.
Very poetic.
Thank you, Barbara. That was exactly my intent -- I was trying my hand at a bit of free verse.
Hi Lynn,

I think I’m now up to date for 2021 and 2022.

Let’s see about those new sevens.

I only see the seven-lines pattern.

But a story is more than math.

Unless you write a sonnet.

I like the reflection Clark does.

I did not even notice the parent-caveat until the FDK so this was very nice.

Hi Michael,

You have been busy with your reading.

Too bad I didn't write five more.

Bizarro challenge: seven lines was the theme.

All English teachers would agree with you.

Sonnets and most poetry are the exceptions.

I'm delighted you found Clark's thoughts enjoyable.

I'm glad the parent caveat wasn't necessary.

wink

Joy,
Lynn
