Complicated plot, but I think I'm following.
Oh, and Marta's gonna figure out about CJ pretty soon -- it's like Bill said, if CJ's adopted, how come he's getting all his dad's powers? But then I guess she is only ten, so I'll forgive her for not having thought the matter through.
Maria, Valerie *is* one of the group -- Bill's wife was assaulted during the NK invasion. He's raised her as his own, though, and she doesn't know he's anything other than her dad. It came out in Unforeseen Consequences.

Hmm, so Valerie doesn't know she's half-kryptonian...I should re-read Unforseen Consequences :p . I always wondered why she wasn't with them.

Loved this part, but I missed the kid's involvement. I am sure that we will be seeing more of them soon.
