And Clark becomes more and more human. dance

I found Clark's introspection
honest and moving.Although Bruce is proving
to be the elder brother Clark never had, it will "take a village"
to make a hero of this wounded child.

Bruce is definitely saying what Clark needs to hear right now, forcing him to confront things about himself that he might otherwise run from. It isn't scoring him any points with Clark at the moment though! Lois is by far more of the "village" right now. Loving her is forcing Clark to strive to be his best self. And perhaps that might be enough to let Clark's soul be reborn. *Maybe*

Thanks for reading!

So. Lois. She is in turn
furious,professional, sympathetic,
flirtatious and supportive but ultimately hopeful the man she is falling in love with is not pathological.

Bruce wants to be like his Big brother, loved the chapter

Another interesting introspective. Hope we get to find out what Clark was writing about!
Whether Clark realizes it or not, he now has a family. Glad to see Bruce giving advice in, as has already been mentioned, an older brother fashion. Now if Clark can learn to graciously accept the advice and help...

Even as a former killer, Clark knows how to charm Lois, huh? And he really IS giving it his all in trying to turn his life around. He's definitely NOT playing with Lois's heart/head. Which is good for him, because Lois would flatten his butt with Kryptonite if he did. smile

Thanks! Bruce is kind of the brother by default, whether he wants to be or not. But, luckily for Clark, he's doing an admirable job of trying to help Clark confront some uncomfortable truths so he can try to reform.

Thanks! You'll find out what he was up to, trust me. smile Later. wink

He does, indeed, have a family, even if Bruce doesn't fully trust Clark and Clark barely trusts Bruce. But there is a kind of grudging mutual respect there too - Bruce seeing Clark change, Clark seeing how decent Bruce is. And, of course, Lois, who is giving Clark all the trust and compassion he's never once had before.

More coming this weekend!
