My heart goes out to Clark who has so many questions and in many ways is all alone. He has good friends in Bruce and Alfred, but it's times like these he needs the love and understanding in canon he found from Martha and Jonathan, and later, Lois. I hope he still has the globe, and it's ready to enlighten him. Great story!
