Bonus posting! thumbsup Glad Clark stood up for himself and dumped Lana - manipulative little girl! So Clark was with the Kents for his formative years...this story didn't change that, just gave him a little more certainty regarding his origins. I'm wondering when the major changes from canon are really going to kick in...maybe in the next part when Clark heads off to college? Good thing I only have to wait a couple of days to find out! laugh

Yay! Feedback before I go to bed!

It will continue to follow canon-ish (because I like to break things sometimes) for a bit. But don't worry, we'll veer into non-canon soon enough!

Well, after reading about this Lana, I am thrilled that Clark has dumped her smile...he deserves so much better--and I happen to know of someone who just might fit that bill!

I enjoyed how much, how certain, this Clark is that--even at a young age--he wants to help. Make a difference. Be an investigative reporter. That 'drive', that will that he has to be such a good person, is so very much alive here.

I am really curious how this extra bit of knowledge Clark possesses will effect him. His personality? His thoughts of Krypton? His willingness to help/communicate/be involved with his people (should that be the case)?

Woo-ho! I still have one more chapter to go smile...

Very much enjoying this!

Yay! It was so nice waking up to new feedback this morning! (Of course, it took me this long to find a moment to respond.)

I'll admit...it was kind of fun writing for horrible Lana. It makes it all the more fulfilling when he meets a certain reporter-lady.

I get this sense that "our" Clark always had the drive to help. So I didn't see it as really anything "extra" to this particular version of Clark. But, well, it does help in the whole push to be Superman, doesn't it? smile

Loving this fic!

The conversations between parents and children while they are growing up can sometimes be extremely painful, yet Martha and Jonathan handled a difficult situation with a tact and love. Kudos to them!,

Lana is Lana. If she likes plastic surgery so much than she can go to Med School!

Thank you! Glad you're enjoying it. Clark's really lucky to have J&M, huh? Gotta love those two. smile
