This story just keeps getting better and better.

Luthor is being stalked by people he has woefully underestimated. I always was angry at them dropping Cat and especially Jack from the series at the end of the first season. I think the Jack character had amazing possibilities and of course the decision on Michael Landes was incredibly stupid. This version is much more to my liking than the end of season 1 on ABC. They spent so much time on Lois dumping on Clark that they had no time for the Luthor investigation which was key to what transpired. Of course you are not limited to 42 minutes per episode so...

Know what? I think Mrs. Cox is going to do something to Lex. I always wondered why a woman like that would allow a man she wants to end up with another woman?

I also agree with MikeM! Losing Cat, Michael Landes and Jack was just plain dumb! The entire course of the series changed with their departure.

Yes, Lex is completely unaware because, with the help of the MPD the disappearances have been covered up. Add to that the distraction that Lois is providing and it is a recipe for disaster, his disaster.

Re: Cat - I am taking a page from Morgana's book, uh, story and easing her out, gracefully.

I will be doing the same thing with Jack.

There isn't much I can do about the switch to Justin. Scuttlebutt has it that Landis just looked too much like Dean.

I am glad that you think the story is getting better as it moves along. That was my intent. It is like a piece of music. It is building a crescendo. The high points will come in chapters 9 - 11.

Oh, and you are right. Mrs. Cox does have a critical role in this episode.
