I loved this part. The depiction of Kara as truly just an 11 year old girl was spot on. The reaction of the chief in helping her come up with ideas was pitch perfect also.

But my favorite line was the last one...

I adored reading that little bit from the President's daughter.

Thereby reminding the fire chief that, despite her awesome powers, she is only a kid.

Loved the magic school bus reference...since my kids watch that every day.

I'm really enjoying this series! (I've read each chapter about 3 times so far.)
