This is a drabble I wrote on another site (Twisting the Hellmouth). I'm thinking of taking it down over there, so here it is. What do you think?

If Peter Pan's advice cannot inspire Clark to fly, I don't know who could.

Is "Twisting the Hellmouth" Buffy-lore? That would be scarey to have Clark grow up in that universe, where everything which is born with powers would be considered evil. (Even if his invulnerable skin / fast healing powers and super strength could be said to be Slayer-ish, he is male and therefore odd to have such traits.)

Cute story! Don't worry, Clark. You don't actually *need* fairy dust to fly...

Hi Shane!

His parents told the teachers he was sick, but really he was having problems…changing in weird ways that weren’t normal, or human.
So…it’s not hair growing in strange places, huh?

He imagined himself as Peter Pan.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to fly?
laugh Maybe he could wear a green costume and tights?
