Okay, I know it's a couple of days early, and that this will be the third chapter posted when I've only written two more since then.

Call me crazy.

This is the spot for the gentle readers to go for it.

Uh-oh...

This isn't looking too good. Nigel and Ariana are paying Dr Mamba to do some more work for them... and that can't be anything desirable, surely.

Clark's got beaten up and is all battered and bruised (/me thinks he needs a - very gentle - hug), and he and Lois are disgreeing on what Bill told Lois. Now, that can't be good for Lois and Clark's relationship, can it?

And what's Bill up to now?

He can't be getting himself into yet more trouble, can he? He'd better not...

Lois is right - Clark should listen to her and be more careful until he learns self-defence.

Clark's healing powers are returning.

Lois will learn to like flying with him!

Henderson is going to learn what a tangled web he weaved when he first practiced to deceive....

Nigel is not stupid and Bill isn't either. This could be interesting...

I've always thought that Nigel and Lex both have a 'sound.' And I've never been able to get anywhere close to it. But Nigel is just right here, so chilling. This, especially:

Just feel like Henderson is walking into an already spun web...

Then, there was this:

Loved that for how smart it is. And that Clark can't just turn his back, or even do the safer thing, call for help. He just goes, and lol'ed at his 'it doesn't even hurt to breathe any more!'

But what I found most poignant, and subsequently, makes me worried, was Bill in his apartment, in his old chair. A lonely picture you painted with little touches:

You're going to kill Henderson, aren't you, Tank??!

Since I'm thinking you won't come right out and reassure me, I'm just going to start preparing myself for that.

And, yeah, Arianna and Nigel and Dr Mamba...that canNOT be good. But this part really, really was.

Thanks for the comments from all the gentle readers still hanging in there.

I know there's a lot of fics vying for attention at present, but I did foolishly say that I would post at least once a week. So, I guess that's why I posted the next part tonight.
