When I got up this morning, I saw that you posted, but I had to work (no time to read and to comment frown ).

Now I have some time after lunch smile

Quote
Shamus went to hold her down and Lois was able to get in a good head-butt. Thankfully, he wasn’t expecting it and slipped to the floor. She heard Patrick roar with anger, and she rocked the table over, knocking one of the candlesticks onto Patrick. His robes caught fire as if he had been covered by a silent flash powder, and he started to holler as the door of the suite burst open.

“Housekeeping! I’ve got towels,” announced the same maid who had kept barging in on her and Jimmy’s stay at the honeymoon suite, as she popped into the room.

The maid saw Shamus passed out on the floor, Lois tied to the upturned table, and Patrick on fire nearby, and rightly flew out of the room screaming. A few moments later, Lois heard the fire alarm go off down the hall.

What an exciting revelation for Lois smile1

You've got to post the next chapter soon.

Ooh! Excellent chapter! I can't wait to read more. She knows! And she's finally figuring it out! Hopefully this will help fix things!

Is there more to read! If so, I'm off to read it now!

I know I sound bonkers, but what I’m saying isn’t any more off-the-wall than those things.”
And the sad thing is that this is totally true. laugh

There were so many good lines in this! I wish I could quote them all. I'll leave that to other feedbackers, though.

Well, you managed it. I was convinced that there was no was she would get away from Patrick without super assiatancd but she did. Kudos.

Okay, now she is putting two and two together and coming up with CK=S. Where do we go from here?

Thanks, Ken. This one seemed a little more believeable than Jimmy's Dad to the rescue, but personally they were the two plot devices I apologized to Ray to in my WHAM warning. laugh He really hates those. blush

Yes, Joan, I did mention the name who sends chills down most women's spines. evil He's one of the more creepier villains I think.
I think he really is, most especially for us ladies as he's the kind of villain we face every day. The potential to be influenced and taken advantage of. In some ways I think of him as worse than Luthor.

I love you, Lois, with a pure heart. As much as I wish I could say otherwise, I cannot guarantee anything else.
Awww. How romantic of a response.
Quote
“Lois, who’s Superman?” Star inquired.

“Oh!” Lois could feel a big smile come to her mouth as it did whenever she thought of her Man of Steel. “He’s the most fantastic guy. I love him. I mean, I’m in love with him. We are meant to be together forever and ever. It’s destiny. I felt it when he first held me in his arms. I just knew. Kismet. Fate.”

“Okay,” Star said hesitantly. “Lois, you didn’t answer my question. Who is Superman?”
Why do I get the feeling that Star is putting two and two together to get CK=S here. I've always had the mental impression that she had figured out the truth at one point. It doesn't seem likely that she would be the kind of person to discount that sort of stuff.

Quote
“Yes. Tempus killed baby Clark by covering him with green rocks. Green glowing rocks, only they’re not glowing anymore.” Lois shook her head. “No, that can’t be right. No. No! That doesn’t make sense. If Clark died due to green rocks…”
"...then Clark is most certainly dead."?

"...then he's Superman."?

I'm just trying to remember, did she ever have any Superman dreams where kryptonite was involved?
Posted By: VirginiaR Re: FDK - Another Lois (19/25) - 05/09/12 10:20 PM
Christina: I agree with your observations on Deter. He's different type of creepy than Luthor, because Deter's kind of creepy could happen to any of us. eek Lois learned about Kryptonite while dreaming about Smallville (GGGoH). The entire dreams aren't shown in the story due to space limitations (and the DVDs tell the whole canon so much better than my rehashings do wink ). Although, now that Star has programmed Lois' memory for fast forward, they will be coming at a faster pace.

Speaking of Star...

In canon I'm surprised she didn't pick up it either, especially when Clark says his name is "Kal-El" when she hypnotises him in "Contact" to see what was on Bob Fences monitor. In this universe, there is no Superman, so when Star is asking Lois "who is Superman" it's because she's never heard of him before. And she asks Lois a second time, because Lois' first answer is a bit vague.

EDIT: Ooops, you double posted there, Christina.

He and Shamus had donned robes.
Huh. Goth candle sticks. Male leads wearing robes. Glass table. Girl tied on top of it. It that the climax scene of a bad porn movie? Oh, wait, Lois still has her clothes on, so, apparently, not.

What was that about not dying any time soon?

“Clark? This Clark – CK fellow – isn’t your partner, Lois, I am. Are you saying that he contacted this Star woman on my behalf? That he’s impersonating me?” he sputtered. “Sarah was right; he isn’t good for you.”

Quote
“You’re starting to act really weird. Clark isn’t from this reality?” he asked incredulously.
I think it’s time for the padded room now.

Quote
“Yes, Lois, it sounds very crazy. This is just the type of thing that Sarah warned me to be on the lookout for,” he told her.
Also, he should be really careful when Lois stops in front of gun or knife stores. And Outdoor Woman.

Quote
“Of course he doesn’t exist, Jimmy; someone, somehow went back in time and killed him off before he became a reporter, so Clark doesn’t exist now.
Duh! Lois really should ditch that pup of a partner.

A man that pure of heart, who also looks that hot in a skintight suit, isn’t going to fall for someone like me. He’s definitely just a fantasy.”

“Perry’s not going to accept that, Lois. Hearsay. You’re the only one who witnessed Sullivan catching fire and disappearing into a cloud of ash.”
Oh boy. That’s not good.

Quote
“And I’m too batty to use my observations as fact anymore?” she retorted. “And the maid saw him on fire. Why do you think she pulled the fire alarm?”
She didn’t. That was Shamus after Lois set his boss on fire. Duh!

Yes, sorry, about any smelly jokes. I do hang out with a 4 year old boy all day and he's warping my sense of humor. I did recently cut a fart joke from Book2. Phew! I was worried about that one. It took an extra 5 pages of silly banter to get around it, but I did it. wink My advanced apologies for the length of Book2.

Must be, because nobody's parking SUVs or thrown any tomatoes or anything at me, yet. I'm surprised, because one of my Beta's left me (and never returned, but that's okay, she warned me she might never speak to me again) and another threatened me with... was it tomatoes? But she is still speaking with me. laugh Of course, maybe they aren't there for me, as there are a few of us that are amazed at the number of stories on the boards at the moment where Lois and Clark sleep together multiple times, literally and quite easily, with no intimacy. I know Clark has super willpower, but hey, even he caves after one night with a harem costume. [Linked Image] That's the problem. /Psst. Lois, over on Krytpon and in the Congo... rent a harem costume, it's Clark's Achilles heel./

Hey! I'm only at part 7 yet.
Did I say "Clark"? No, no, no, I meant Claude. Yes, you see Lois gets so pissed off at Clark for "dating" the twins, she runs off with Claude. Clark gives up on her and decides to spend the rest of the story deciding on which twin he likes best. And then there is that scene where all five of them end up locked in a padded room with lots of pillows, and it's very hot and so they... well, you get the picture. I wonder how he's posting this on the Gfic boards? [Linked Image] Not buying it, huh? Look! [Linked Image] A shiny naked woman! [Linked Image] [Linked Image]
