I've never seen an author write Clark SO tuned to Lois that he knows her wardrobe based on her footsteps. Nice!

Yeah, not well at all.

Absolutely loved this part! I can just see how Lois' e-mail program somehow crashed, and therewith Clark's third attempt at asking her out!

No. I can't remember exactly what I was thinking when I wrote this originally, but the coffee boy seems to be pretty much the exact opposite of Clark, so perhaps I was going for contrast.
