Thank you so much for all this feedback. You guys make my day. I'm trying to post every two or three days. Real life is keeping me busy all the time and the next installment will be on Saturday, I suppose.

Wow, very emotional, quite sad! I'm sorry to see such anguish already apparent, and yet at the same time, I'm drawn in because I really want to see where this story goes. Lois's sadness doesn't seem to have any guilt in it, so I don't think she managed to drive him away. In fact, she seems almost confused about his coldness toward her, so I have to wonder if there's a bad guy threatening her if he gets too close.
