Only two more chapters to go! As you can tell, I'm redoing the Green Green Glow of Home in my alt universe. This story will be it for a while as I have RL beating on my door. And it's summer vacation time!
But I'm not done with this universe, though I think I will try to write something else for a while.

Lois was piqued. The place was busy, but there clearly were some empty tables in the middle. But it seemed there was no room in the inn.

Sounds like B39 already made an impression on the town.

Following lunch, Clark carried the styrofoam box with half of Lois’ sandwich out of the restaurant without comment.

"Did you see that woman our Clark brought with him?"
"Yeah, sure. She's been hard not to notice. But boy, I have no idea why he'd take her with him."
"I'm right there with ya. Our Clark was already such a nice and quiet boy..."
