it sounds like Clark set himself up to be shot. I assume Ms. Eskin toggled the switch to the security system allowing Pete and Mr. Eskin inside where they could deal with Luthor.

Wow... what a cliffhanger.

I'm eagerly waiting to find out what will happen next!

And that gunshot wound to the chest is a great way to keep any theories that CK=S away for a very, very long time

They were cute together and you balanced it well with the Little David stuff. I am quite surprised that Clark is shot but Lex and Anita are both alive. How's Lex going to get out of this one? Or is he knocked out and Anita let them in?

Can't wait for Wednesday!

Very nice chapter. I've been enjoying your story. I like the original characters and twists on the cannon, and I enjoy how those twists work back in smoothly. Looking forward to more.

Awesome chapter and clever of Clark to get shot to cover his susceptibility to Kryptonite. Once he gets out of the office, he should begin to recover. But he needs to get transported by the EMTs to do that. Pete keeping him in the room isn't helping that part.
I see several ways this could go, so I'm eager for the next part and the wrap up. Great story!
