P.S. What age is Lois here? Did I get you correctly, is she the editor of the Daily Planet? Better read the fic again... smile

Okay, I read it again. William Jones is a firefighter - of course. And he saves people from burning buildings when no one else can do that.

I particularly liked this:

His hobbies included parasailing
Hah! goofy He's into flying! Of course!

and writing children's books under the pseudonym "Charles W. Knight'.
And he is a writer, too! Naturally! It's sweet of him to write for kids. And hey, I like that pseudonym. Guy's got a secret identity, pretty much! Charles W. Knight, that's not too unlike Clark J. Kent!

And Lois and Mr Jones recognize each other. Of course they do! But they go their separate ways. Yes, I guess that was unavoidable. He is thirty years her junior, after all.

I have to agree with Artemis - sweet, yet sad, because now the years separate them. But an excellent fic and good at exploring a new part of the L&C mythos! Just goes to show that you can write it all, Dandello!

Very sweet and a little touching. Who'd think that Lois would be the one left behind.
