The two thugs who had broken into her apartment lay unconscious on floor in front of her, with the cart laying mangled between them. She looked to her left and saw Superman holding her captor in the air with one arm by his shirt and coat. She heard him talking to the kidnapper, frightened by the rage in his voice. Slowly, and with much effort, she got up from her chair and made her way over to him. As she approached, she could actually see his eyes glowing red, probably from containing his famous heat vision.
