I was reading "Waking a Miracle" by ___ when a comment by Lois got me thinking about her usual DP nickname and what if it was something different? In the story Lois accidentally scares Clark off when she tries to get him to tell her how he knows Trask. She comes on too hard and he abruptly leaves her apartment. She ends up berating herself saying something to the effect of "Mad Dog Lane? More Like Dominatrix Lane." My thought was what if that actually WAS her nickname? Would his and Lois's relationship been a bit different? Or at least, how did she get that nickname? I posted this over on the nfic forum at first thinking it might have been a little too much for the g to pg fic section but I suspect you could swing it.
