Many apologies to Virginia, who started the 2013 Monthly Challenge Challenge . I think it's a good idea. A very good idea, in fact. But, as I stared at my screen, trying my darndest to tackle May's WAFFy challenge, I realised that I apparently can't do WAFF to save my life. So, I thought about doing the reverse of the challenge just to be contrary....and then, I thought: why not invite others to join me? evil

So, welcome to the Bizarro Monthly Challenges. These are meant to be the flip and/or reverse of the main set, although of course, there's no law that says you can't answer both. laugh

So, let's see what we can line up for this year:

MAY = EVIL Challenge
JUNE = No Action Challenge
JULY = Secret-Saving Challenge
AUGUST = Pratfalls and Spills (Let's Laugh at Lois's Expense) Challenge
SEPTEMBER = No Place Like Home Challenge
OCTOBER = Baby/Kid Fic, Villain-Turned-Hero, and/or Heaven/Angels Challenge
November/December = Your usual holiday story challenge. wink

More details will be revealed as each month approaches. Good luck, and happy writing. smile

Fun! I've got some WAFF in me right now, but that certainly doesn't mean the evil isn't there (because it always is... MWAHAHA!!) evil I'll have to see what I get to. Love this idea! I mean, hate it! :p

According to Dictionary.com, a Challenge is:
Quote
difficulty in a job or undertaking that is stimulating to one engaged in it.
You're stretching those little used muscles and trying something new.

If it works, then hyper

If not, at least you tried. I recommend that instead of saying you can't do something, you try. (Really, attempting not to break out in Yoda voice here.) And the rest of us know, Queenie, that if you put your mind to it, you will succeed, and the rest of us will read it. I have faith in you, even if you're feeling a bit Bizarro lately.

Virginia: Fair enough. I'll take another crack at it. (But I still reserve the right to be contrary, just because).
