Lois & Clark Forums Forums Fan Fiction Fanfic Challenge What if Lois didn't let it drop?

Someone brought it up in another fanfic so I just thought I would toss it out there in case someone wanted to write a story centering around it.

Bobby opens his mouth in The Phoenix and states that he is happy for Lois and Clark that they are going on a date because everyone knows Clark has been mooning over her.

What if Lois hadn't let that comment drop as easily as it was dropped in the episode? It was a good avenue to explore and it wasn't explored at all. The writers put a lot of opportunities like that into the episode but didn't take them any further.

So can you take Bobby being extremely indiscreet for even him much further than where it was left off in the episode? I can't imagine how it can be done but feel free to try. G/N fic is fine.
