She was taken a bit by surprise. She knew he'd be coming someday soon, she just didn't realize it would be *that* day. Yeah, but she did a great job of shoving "you need to hire this guy" down Perry's throat. Unfortunately not. The Internet wasn't that detailed in the late 80s and early 90s. Meh. I wasn't online until 1996 when I got my first home computer. Of course, I was only a freshman in high school at the time... Luggage? They need clothes? Well, they need something so they aren't flying nude.

NO! Don't stop responding. I'm deathly allergic to an empty e-mail inbox. Oh, goodie! Well, not the allergy. Or, actually, yeah, that too. Which why it was necessary for them to kiss other people to realize it wasn't. That’s what extra-marital affairs in the seventh year are for. Well, Lois *was* trying to gather him, from a certain point of view. Michael

Of course, I was only a freshman in high school at the time... WWW (as we know it today) established with the introduction of the Mosasic web browser in 1993/1994. Luggage? They need clothes? Well, they need something so they aren't flying nude. LUGGAGE! Of course, they'll still have the clothes they brought on their backs. I meant once they got there. Not flying there naked. Well, Clark was naked.

Michael: Oh, goodie! Well, not the allergy. Or, actually, yeah, that too It means I respond to your FDK in a timely basis to re-fill my mailbox sooner than later with your FDK-FDK-FDK-FDK responses. That’s what extra-marital affairs in the seventh year are for. Let's see if they met in 1984 + 7 years = 1991. 7 year itch already come and gone. (Plus, would she want to do it with someone who couldn't really curl her toes?) Potato / horse droppings. Let me guess? For next year's tomato crop? Yeah, that would be awkward for him. Sitting crosslegged next to Lois for three years. She'll have access to Kryptonite before then, so it's best if he doesn't wait that long. /nods/ It’s just, some sequels are less likely than others. Oh well. First, I have to get my Rival outline set up, anyway. Time’s running out. What? Only 4 more days of your holiday left?

True, but if they can't even curl her toes, she couldn't expect them to rock her world, could she? Ooooh! You mean she’d expose him and tie him up and then expose him indecently? Threaten him with it if he pulls a Second Honeymoon on her. I'm envious!

Actually exposing him would have the same effect, though. But she doesn't want him a bloody plup in the hospital unless she puts him there. Plus, bloody plup not good for honeymooning (see Second Honeymoon for example). Then again, I’ve not really writing much for several years now. While you… You keep saying that. You do realize that every one of your FDKs is like a little vignette of its own, don't you?

Just have him unable to break the silk scarfs she uses to tie him to her bed. You keep saying that. You do realize that every one of your FDKs is like a little vignette of its own, don't you? It is? Who said anything about bloody pulps. Just have him unable to break the silk scarfs she uses to tie him to her bed. My bad. What is some kind of lunkhead? Why would he do that? It is? But it's just random thoughts reflected off what I'm reading. There's no structure. No plot. No seriousness. Just the kind of vignettes us EWM like to read.

My bad. What is some kind of lunkhead? Why would he do that? Hmm... * Because it's not proper to have relations with a Lois he's not married to? * Because Lois wants to have relations with Superman but he wants her to have relations with Clark? * Because Lois wants to paint him with chocolate? * Because he's afraid of intimacy? * Because he's a lunkhead and doesn't know a good thing when it playfully bites him in the heiney? Michael These all work but the chocolate one. Canon Clark likes chocolate, remember. That one might be an incentive.

That was a creative, funny twist of a story with a delightful ending. I hope you'll keep writing the occasional short story for those of us who don't have the time for epics.
This *is* my happily ever after.

I hope you'll keep writing the occasional short story for those of us who don't have the time for epics. Thank you, Happy. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I find it fun to twist canon on it's ear. I have written a few short pieces = 7 posted this year, in fact (all are already on the Archives). Clearly, I have no social life. I do owe the Summer Ficathon one more before... oh, dear, is it less than 2 weeks until September? Okay, that Water Fight story might come in a little late.
