I just caught up with the last few parts of this story today. You know, when it started, I thought it was just going to be a fun little romp, but you've got me totally hooked on the plot now! I like the interplay between Lois and Clark -- not instant soul mates, but intrigued and friendly -- and it's fun to keep stumbling across all the things that are "backwards".

I especially liked Sam being an expert on Clark's physiology. Of course he is! That's awesome.

One minor edit, for when you get it ready for the archive -- you have Lois say that Josh has a few cracked ribs, yet a few paragraphs later, Clark notes that he doesn't. Since Clark doesn't have his powers to check/contradict Lois's evaluation, I'd think you'd want to remove one of the two references.

This is fun, Carol. Keep 'em coming. smile

You and me both on the fun romp thing, Kathy wink .

Lois' should be bruised or cracked while Clark's is broken [two very different levels of pain as I understand it]. Will make sure to clarify...

Thanks smile .

Hi Carol, it's me, SJH. Liking the story so far, but I have a question I gotta ask. Lois is not/will not... you know...because she was half naked and all...and she has been... you know, in your last stories, so... just asking...

Oh no! Nothing like that - just used her shirt to help tie up Josh's ribs. 'Naked' is a way overstatement.

/me bites lip

Did that not come across? That they had gotten stuck in the woods or something and had collapsed when they got home?

Clark's first glimpse of them was almost completely inaccurate...

Okay - official FDK response smile .

Michael - hmm maybe she does! And woods? What about the woods? wink

Sarah - tell you what - next time I need an ending chosen I'll come to you!

Annalina - /me whistles - so far Dan doesn't do much more than we've already seen - random sheriff we hear about but don't really see, though I do have something of a scene slightly in mind...

Kathy - I thought it was going to be a fun little romp too smile . And it has been fun, freeing, liberating and, erm, scary, to write with no plan whatsoever... Not everything is backwards [Lois isn't Kryptonian for instance while Clark is human] but it is fun trying to think of things too. Someone - Queenie? - suggested making Rachel from Metropolis for instance, but I'd already used her in Smallville by that point.

SJH - see my other note smile . Glad you're liking it!

More coming up in a few!
Carol

It seems that Clark inspires whatever parents he ends up with to greatness... Never really saw Sam Lane as an action dad before, but he never had Superman as a son. The Kents stayed the same though. This is definitely becoming a scrambled egg-fest
