OOH! This was really good. I haven't ever considered this take before. I love that Henderson knows about Superman and says it without saying it. He was such an awesome character.

definitely - this is really a wonderful story and i want to read the rest of it

I am considering expanding the whole thing so I can include Henderson's POV and more of HoL and ME.

The whole ignore the police investigation thing in Madame Ex bothered me to no end. A famous surgeon is murdered and dumped in an alley - the cops would be beating the bushes for witnesses, going through his files, interviewing his patients, his employees. Lois & Clark should be stumbling into police all over the place.

But I'm glad everybody's liked this short version.

And yes, the long one will include Lois's reaction.

I, too, thought this was great. You showed us so clearly what it would have been like if Superman had died even if Clark had lived on. For once, I could completely sympathize with Clark when he talked about Superman. He wasn't lying, but reliving a horrible trauma.

And the part Henderson played was superb! Yay for Henderson!

I'm looking forward to the longer version!
