I love how you put a spotlight on the disadvantage of having superhearing. I wish more stories would explore that.

This is such a wonderfully sad moment in time. I'm always looking for ways to cleverly, actively use Clark's powers, but this is such an evocative reminder of how they affect him, not just how he affects the world around him.
