Lois begins experiencing alternative futures as compressed events.

From Lois's point of view she experiences things normally than at a crisis point events rewind to an earlier time.

Example; Lois season 1 at the alter

The Archbishop says "And do you, Lois, take this man to be your wedded husband from this day forward, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?"

And Lois replies "I...I... can't"

SNAP Lois is back a few days or weeks earlier, Lois recalls the events as if they really happen, but she is an earlier time.

It happens repeatedly, normally for durations of only a few hours or days.

A while back I suggested this idea but used the word premonition , which caused confusion.

Oooh, like Groundhog's Day? I'd totally read a story like that! Someone write that, please! hyper

ML Thompson's If At First You Don't Succeed... sort of answers this. It's a variation of Groundhog Day. Might give someone inspiration.

Hi Cuidadora!

I read this story years ago. Thanks so much for reminding us what an excellent writer Ms. Thompson is!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
