I am looking for a story. Lois has been dead for many years. Clark now lives out in the countryside in seclusion. I believe under another name. A female reporter’s car breaks down. It will take several days for repair. After interaction with “”Clark” she realizes who he is.

It took me a bit but the story you are looking for is Lonely is the Man... by Jon Wolff

Nice story but for some reason I never bookmarked it so it took a while to find.

I read this story long ago. It is well written, yet bittersweet since Lois has passed away. I have no doubt you will appreciate every line.

Hmm, maybe I should read it again ...

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

I had not read it in over 6 years and I just completed the first chapter and it got me hooked again. I guess I am going to have to re-read it now.
