I was toying with this story for the past several years and now with rewatching the show I am thinking about it even more. So I am going to make it a challenge to others since it got me thinking.... the Kents lived on a farm, worked on the farm, how did the afford plane tickets to Metropolis all the time.
In many of the other Superman medias Jonathan was not always around. So I would challenge anyone to write something where Clark has to help on the farm after Jonathan is injured such as a heart attack. Set between Season 2-4 where Lois and Clark are together, and Clark has to go back to Smallville to help on the farm and he realizes things are not as good on the farm as he thought.
