This case is slowly developing. Is Carlton Powers the murderer?

Comments go here.

Might I suggest to those reading this excellent story to drop a line of comment? KenJ loves writing for this fandom, it would be great if a few folks would show appreciation for all of his hard work and let him know.

I for one am enjoying the back and forth between the two worlds. It takes real talent to accomplish that task! dance

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

I really like the mood you set with the music from that era. clap

Is Carlton the murderer? I'm in the firm "maybe" camp. It certainly looks like it, but we may not yet have all the puzzle pieces.

The dual parallel stories are inspired! thumbsup

Thank you for interceding on my behalf. Even if there is no FDK (Not to say I don’t want any.) I will finish the story.

The back and forth was necessary. Hopefully I am carrying it off successfully.

I have used music to set the mood in other stories. It seemed particularly appropriate in this one.

As for the Carlton Powers murders, read on.

The back and forth was necessary. Hopefully I am carrying it off successfully. While Lois and Margot are in each other’s universes, time is not standing still for one of them. Time passes and things happen. They are each trying desperately to fill in for the other, but they have different backgrounds and capabilities.

Relating the events in the two universes are not proceeding at the same rate of necessity, but it will all work out in the end.

For example, at this point for Margot over a week has passed while for Lois it has only been a couple of days.
