Welcome to Fridays with Margot.

As you can see now, Lois and Margot have definitely traded places thanks to Tempus.

Hi Ken:
Good idea. I like the new intro. Definitely an upgrade in looking
at the world of the Shadow and his way of helping his city.

By way of explanation of Atremis’ comment.

After she completed the beta on this chapter, I had the bright idea that I needed to explain why Lamont was not with Margot at the benefit.

I remembered another OTR episode of The Shadow that would fill the bill and created a transcript of it.

The trick was to tailor it to only contain those sections that directly involved Margot, what she personally witnessed.

If you are interested in the entire episode, the details are in the header – it was League of Terror broadcast on January 9, 1938

Oh man, I love the back and forth between Margo and Lois. This way seeing how the two women adjust to the different worlds is really interesting.

Back to work. sad

Happy Friday!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Hi Morgana,

Thanks for the FDK!

By way of explaining Morgana's comment.

Initially, as I was writing this, my concept was 2x2, 2 episodes of Lois and then 2 episodes of Margot etc.

Then I changed horses in mid-stream and confused all of my beta readers by going to 1x1. I think this way works better. This way it is Lois - Tuesdays and Margot - Fridays.

In the 'Previously' section, I will make sure that the characters match up.

The Lois-Tues and Margot-Fri is very helpful to keep the two parallel stories straight. thumbsup

Originally, I envisioned 2x2 which would have resulted in alternate weeks. It was after I had developed a number of chapters and submitted them for beta that I changed it. It confused my beta readers, at first. Then they agreed that this would be a better format.
