Was not expecting this one! Really great job. You can feel Clark's anguish over his birth father and his torn loyalties to his home with everyone he loves and the loyalty to live up to the role predetermined by his parents so long ago...his destiny.

I agree I was not expecting this approach for Clark especially since he had never met Jor-El. That approach was genius. I keep having to remind myself that these stories are a single sided view of events and feelings. You bring the Kryptonians view of Clark into the story a bit but more how Clark felt about how they felt.

Thank you! Glad I could provide a surprise with this one! I tell you, I don't envy the position Clark was put in during the whole NK arc, but I do believe in my heart he would have used the opportunity to learn about his birth parents.
