Hi everyone smile

Yes, it's time to get nominating the stories you think deserve an award at this year's Kerths. Nominations will run from Saturday, February 20 to Sunday, March 6, midnight EST. Please be aware that the nomination form may still be up after 11.59pm. The date and time will be checked on each email. Nominations received after 11.59pm March 8 will not be counted.

smile1 As we've said before, the more nominations submitted, the better fun for everyone, so even if you've never taken part in this stage of the process before, do consider giving it a try this year. You can nominate in as many or as few categories as you like.

When you're ready to nominate, head over to the nominations form here Fill in the form, click Submit, and you're done. It couldn't be easier. clap A big thank you to Annette for updating the website.

Please remember that nominating and voting can only be done by FoLCs. Family, friends and work colleagues cannot nominate or vote.

We can't wait to hear from you. smile

You should have my nominations now. smile1

BTW, A Scene Remembered is not the website or your list of eligible stories on the mbs. The author requested it be made eligible and groobie has it on her spreadsheet and has her as a new author this year. Is it eligible this year or not? Since it is FarmerBabe's only story, that would determine if she is a new author this year.

Asking a silly question...

Can you nominate multiple stories per category? It's really hard to choose...

It used to be up to 10 stories per category, but I've exceeded that a little many times over the years. I assume the same rules apply.

Now that all the logistical problems from the last week have been resolved, I'm bumping this thread back to the top to remind people to VOTE! AND NOT JUST FOR PRESIDENT! laugh Kerth Nominations are due by midnight on March 6th, so best get them in by Saturday, March 5th just to be safe! You wouldn't want your favorite story or writer to miss out, now would you?

Thanks for the reminder! Printing out the nomination sheet this morning. So much reading to do.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Only a few hours to go! Please make sure you nominate, even if it is only in one category or one story.
