Would she jump on stage and pull him away, trying to cover for him? Would she and the audience think that whatever Clark is doing was just a magic trick, part of the act? You can find my stories as Groobie on the nfic archives and Susan Young on the gfic archives. In other words, you know me as Groobie.

But personally I wanted to allow your imagination to run wild with what might happen. I don't think I'd be capable of using this scene to its full potential. But feel free to turn this into a challenge. I'd like to read what others can come up with. It's never too dark to be cool.
