Silly me. This is the chapter with the Cajun joke. But I still hope y'all get a giggle out of it.

And, of course, the mystery of Lois deepens.

Hmmm...I'm wondering if in this universe, Utopia was founded by the descendants of Clark and Lucy. Wells has seen the future and now realizes he may have screwed up their chance to get together right when they were on the cusp of beginning their relationship.

I like that Arianna is involved in the discussion with Lex regarding his business dealings. It would be cool if she was "the Boss" in this universe - running the show from behind the scenes. Power to the females! smile
Despite Lois' disturbing racism, you haven't chased me away from this story yet. wink

You can find my stories as Groobie on the nfic archives and Susan Young on the gfic archives. In other words, you know me as Groobie. wink

Glad you liked the Cajun joke, Groobie. As for Arianna being "The Boss," I've already traveled that road once, and she got really nasty then. It's not a bad idea, though.

Lois' racism is indeed disturbing. I have known people like that (they were acquaintances and not friends) and their reactions are like reflexes. They don't even think about it. There is a reason for Lois' attitude (but NOT an excuse) in the next chapter. And don't worry - I'm not taking your statement about not chasing you away yet as a challenge, even if it might seem that way to some.

Next chapter coming up!
