Wow, now we are getting somewhere! Very powerful chapter and a much more in character portrayal of Lois than the series provided. I always thought she caved to Lex much quicker than the fiery, single minded, hard nosed reporter she was would have done.

Excellent chapter.

Oh man! It is so good to look inside the character's minds. This is better than the original episode!

My only quibble is that Jack might not have been shaken, more like angry. Luthor tipped his hand when he asked Lois about him. Since when does that man concern himself with a copy boy?

Next!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Mike,

Thanks for the FDK!

I always thought that in the series, Lois was a bit, actually more than a bit too gullible.

I'm glad that you are liking this little treatment of a familiar story. Hang onto your hat. More twists and turns ahead.

Hi Morgana,

Thanks for the FDK!

I'm glad you think so highly of my characterizations.

Jack was shaking, but Lois wasn't sure why. I like you believe that it wasn't fear, but anger. He voiced it when he asked if Luthor was the one that had killed Clark. Jack, Jimmy and Clark had really gotten close by this time.
