This is my first multi-chapter story here. It's still a work in progress, and I'll try to post a chapter a week.

It started out as a simple 'what if?'... What if Lois had said no when Clark asked her out? And quickly developed a life of it's own.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it

Feli

Ooooh. I'm interested to learn why Lois turned Clark down (was it because of all the disappearances?) What happened with Lois and Scardino? Clark hinted that they dated, but he didn't say more than that.

Your hint that this series begins after The Phoenix leads me to believe that Luthor didn't end up in jail and is working on reclaiming his art. eek

Who will Perry send to Paris? grovel Lois perhaps? Will she finally tell him what an idiot she was to turn him down? It's doubtful, after being turned down twice, that Clark would try yet a third time.

The paragraph about Perry getting on the internet to find out stuff about Elvis was very entertaining. I could just picture that.

Feli, I envy your ability to create so many insightful stories in so little time. Do you happen to have insomnia? Perhaps you've just waited to post until you've built up a collection. We're very lucky benefactors of your generous muse. smile

No, I just have two small children, one of which doesn't sleep well. The easiest way to get her to go to sleep is to put a movie on for her (or two... or three). There's only so many times you can watch kids movies before they start to drive you crazy.

Well, thanks! blush

I'm glad you liked the first chapter. Hopefully I can answer some of your questions in the following chapters!

You've definitely got me interested wink
Good luck for your first long story! I understand that it's a big jump (have you checked the water level?) smile

Well I certainly am hooked hyper...

What a great concept for a story--instead of Lois accepting Clark's question of a date, saying no. Love it! And considering Clark is living in Paris, it sounds like this change altered a lot of what we know to be canon.

Can Lois p-l-e-a-s-e be the one to come to Paris? Pretty please? grovel.

The thought of reconnecting, 'discovering' each other in Paris sounds oh-so-romantic. (Picturing all sorts of romantic strolls, beautiful scenery, lovely WAFF and sighing to myself now grin).

Can not wait to read more smile

I love the concept of this story! And how romantic to have them reconnect in Paris (assuming of course that Lois is coming) clap

Looking forward to reading more!

This is your first effort at a long story? Nicely done homerun! clap

Since I have enjoyed your vignettes immensely, I am sure this story will be no different, only better and longer.

The mood has been perfectly set, Clark is living in Paris in a tiny apartment, his job as a traveling reporter does not allow him to have a desk so he has to borrow a computer to send emails. Ouch!

But look a fascinating story beckons! He calls Perry for help. Wanna bet who Perry sends?

So looking forward to the next chapter!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
