...Avengers: Age of Ultron is launching here eight days earlier than in the USA. And because I'm retired I can go and see it early then get a nice lunch (or vice versa) rather than having to see it with the screaming hordes at the weekend. Yay!

Oh, that is so unfair. It's been on my calendar for something like 18 months and they're releasing it early over there? It looks like a great movie--I hope you enjoy it.

For some reason the same thing happened with the first Avengers movie and Winter Soldier - no idea why. If I had to guess, it's because the Monday after the following weekend (the start of May) is a public holiday in the UK, and a lot of people will be away from home that weekend and likely to miss it.
