I loved it! I knew who Superman was kissing a moment before you gave the name. Thanks for the chuckle.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad." "How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Hi Anne,
Thanks for the FDK!
I threw in some clues along the way. Triathlon, calling her Lois, Emerson.

This was great! I was completely surprised when it was revealed who the woman kissing Superman really was.
So great to see Hattie again! She is such a cute young lady. But did she have to be reading the whisper?

Ken,
The give away for me was the reference to daughter Emerson. Prior to that we could have been in some sort of time/dimension shift. Of course we all know that you never do that...
Fun read. Was actually hoping Jon and Emerson would see each other again but that would truly annoy Hattie now wouldn't it??

Hi Kathy, Thanks for the FDK! Fun piece to read! Didn't see the twist coming.
Have never celebrated Thanksgiving, but Christmas is right around the corner... I was hoping that it would be a surprise for a lot of people. Yes, Thanksgiving is just an American holiday, but I think that the sentiments expressed are universal.

Mike I hope this makes up for not posting Illusions this week. Yes, Emerson was one of the clues I put in there for the discerning reader. As my readers already know, Jon's soul mate is Jennifer Johnson a second cousin of Lana Lang. As far as Hattie is concerned, there will be a number of times that she will see Kam-El in action, but for some strange reason she never actually meets him until she finds herself falling off the top of a building and he rescued her. She came close though, there was that time in High School when he ... but that's another story. Her friend Cindy was more involved in that than Hattie.
