This was supposed to represent the kind of thing you fantasize will happen when you are secretly in love with someone. I know I used to imagine this kind of situation happening when I was a teenager/young twenties. Unfortunately it never did. Although, now I think about it ... my first date with my hubby ended in an encounter on a couch ... although he was tickling me rather than kissing me. (I seriously expected it to turn into a kiss sigh but it didn't, he saved that for the door.) KatherineKent/Victoria Lois: "You put up with me for the same reason I put up with you. It's because I'm completely in love with you." Clark: "And I love you ... Did we just make up?" Lois: "I think so."

When I invited my future husband over to my apartment for a date, we ended up making out in the kitchen rather than mixing drinks for everybody else. Memories! Quote Lois was resting her head on his shoulder. Knowing that it wouldn't be overstepping the bounds of their friendship he lifted his arm and brought it round her shoulders then let her rest down against his shoulder once more. When Lois came over to watch movies, this was always the bit he enjoyed the most. Every movie had a part when she snuggled up under his arm. Awww, the image is first and foremost in my mind! Quote Clark curled his hand around Lois' far shoulder and she glanced up at him, smiling, when he hugged her close. He returned her 'platonic' smile. She returned her attention to the movie, but he continued to look down at her. His heart beat erratically. It was always affected, by a smile from Lois, in this way. She was wearing a plain white t-shirt which accented her curves so there was little chance of his heart slowing soon. T-shirts and jeans are the perfect clothes to relax in. Saturday Night for sure! Quote "Because my mouth is about to be occupied by something else for the next few minutes." "Really, what?" she grinned once more. "This," he whispered huskily, returning the atmosphere to the previous mood. He slowly lowered his head, until their lips met once more, sweeping them away into bliss. Hubba! Hubba! This was fun to look over and even more fun to read on the boards! Thanks for the memories! Morgana A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

The what if... the does he mean... will he reject me if... I'm glad Clark had the courage to make that first move. LOIS: First move! Please, what do you think me sprawling all over him meant? I was beginning to think I'd have to take off my clothes to draw his attention away from that movie. I'm surprised that he followed up with "I love you". AWWWWW. I, too, was terrified that Lois's reaction would be scared rabbit on him, but this was S2 Lois, who knew how she felt about Clark, even if it scared her to death. Well done. This was just what I needed to start out my Sunday with a smile. More stories please. VirginiaR. Those precious moments--when you know how you feel, but can only guess how they feel...when you hope so much they feel the same. I just love that time of discovery...and you created it in such a heart-warming way. I won't get into how many 'awwwwws' were coming out of me when I was reading this . I really love how Clark put it all 'out there', told her he loved her--and how you described Lois' reaction was done really well. And Clark stating it again--very cute, and it really fit with that moment between them, as their 'reality' is becoming more clear to them both. Yes, definitely brought back memories with my hubby also...discovering our feelings for each other, falling for each other. Beautifully, wonderfully done . Definitely one to reread (often) .
