Spotted on Amazon UK while I was checking the release date for the Man of Steel DVD, a collection of 5 animated Superman movies for £10

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Superman-Animated-Movie-Collection-DVD/dp/B00BWU1EXE/ref=pd_sim_d_h__1

Their description:

Collection of five animated features following the adventures of the DC Comics superhero.

In 'Superman: Unbound' (2013), with the help of his cousin Supergirl (voice of Molly C. Quinn), Superman (Matt Bomer) goes up against extraterrestrial villain Brainiac (John Noble), who has been wreaking havoc across the universe, stealing cities and destroying planets, including the hero's home Krypton. With Brainiac now on Earth, Superman does all he can to prevent it, and its people, from meeting the same fate.

In 'Superman: Doomsday' (2007), Superman (Adam Baldwin) goes up against his toughest opponent yet when LexCorps unintentionally release a powerful villain known as Doomsday. In an attempt to save the city of Metropolis Superman must engage in a fight to the death.

In 'Superman Vs The Elite' (2012), Superman (George Newbern) questions the methods of The Elite, a new group of superheroes led by Brit Manchester Black (Robin Atkin Downes), who believe the only way to rid the world of evil is to kill villains. Superman, however, is determined to protect the people of Earth without causing more death. As The Elite's exploits get out of hand, Superman finds himself with no choice but to take them down.

In 'Superman/Batman: Public Enemies' (2009), Superman (Tim Daly) and Batman (Kevin Conroy) join forces to destroy a Kryptonite meteor that is heading directly towards Earth. With new US President Lex Luthor (Clancy Brown) wanting to take the glory for the meteor's destruction, however, Superman finds himself accused of murder and both he and Batman, with the help of Power Girl (Allison Mack), must successfully defeat an army of villains before they can continue with their plans to save the world.

In the sequel, 'Superman/Batman: Apocalypse' (2010), Superman (Daly)'s cousin Kara Zor-El (Summer Glau) arrives in Gotham City but causes problems when she is unable to control her powers. After training at Themyscira, Kara is captured by the evil Darkseid (Andre Braugher). With the help of some fellow heroes, including Batman (Conroy), Superman goes to rescue his cousin.

I've seen a couple of them and they were pretty good, but didn't give Lois a huge amount of screen time. However, in 'Superman Vs The Elite' she's apparently voiced by Pauley Perrette (Abby in NCIS) and the description on Wikipedia seems to imply she's more important. Anyone seen it?

From the above I watched Doomsday and Apocalypse (I have Doomsday DVD and have watched it a lot). I liked Lois in Doomsday. Have you seen it? I guess she has a considerable screen time and plays an important role. She is smart, intrepid and true to the character, IMO. I have not seen the others, so can't tell anything about them.

No, I've seen Public Enemies and Apocalypse, I thought I'd seen Doomsday too but I may be wrong, can't remember much about it.

VERY belated follow-up to this - I did eventually get the set, Superman Versus The Elite is OK but not brilliant, it does give Lois more screen time, and make good use of her skills, but the plot involves a group of villains who have never appeared before or since, and don't seem to be a huge threat once Superman works out how to deal with them. Superman eventually defeats them by a trick that I found a little unconvincing.

In Superman V. the Elite, Lois has a pretty important role from what I remember. It is a better story than the comic it's based on and that's a rarity (Superman #775 "What's so wrong with Truth, Justice, and the American Way?" for those that don't know).

CLARK: No. I'm just worried I'm a jinx.
JONATHAN: A jinx?
CLARK: Yeah. Let's face it, ever since she's known me, Lois's been kidnapped, frozen, pushed off buildings, almost stabbed, poisoned, buried alive and who knows what else, and it's all because of me.
-"Contact" (You're not her jinx, you're her blessing.)
