I decided to try and move the new comments for Shayne's 2012 story the easy way - by employing the new merge threads feature.
*sigh*
Given the way the rest of the upgrade went, I suppose I really should have known better. Not only did it NOT merge the two threads, but it deleted the entire story thread, complete with the new batch of comments. And, I've just realised, the original comments thread, too.

You know, given the fact that I arrived at the mbs logged out - yet again, despite checking the damn keep me logged in button - and I see that I don't have the ability while typing this to choose any graemlins AND every time I go into the nfic folder I have to change the setting to make sure I don't only get the topics for the last few days....
...really, really ticked off today. *raspberry*
Luckily, I backed up the story post, so I'll resurrect that now. I'll also set up a new comments thread - please do add your comments in there.
