Are these still the best DVD rippers to use? I followed the link for shush (sort of) but it says "0 software found". I followed the link for rippack (sort of) and it says "Rippack is dead" with a skull and crossbones. But since I'm not easily discouraged...

I use FairUse. It's easy to use and it has worked fine. The link above is working, but is from the French version. This is the link to the English version: FairUse - English version Andreia

We were looking for something that is free. $30+ is a lot to spend if this is just a passing fancy...

I use the free version. It has some limitations (you can't rip parts of a DVD, for example), but it rips whole episodes just fine. And there isn't an expiration date.

Yeah, just didn't know how to clip the sections I wanted out of the resulting AVI.
Found a AVI cutter called VirtualDub (not the same as above) and hope to be using it soon.

So, to add to the confusion, I figured I'd add my list of software:
I use DVD Shrink to rip the movies, then use JoinVob to make it continuous, then use a wondermous program called Super to convert to/from any format. I absolutely love that program!! Email me if you wanna try it out!
I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me! ~Dr. Seuss

Okay, I don't know if it's a good idea to add to this thread or not, but whatever.
I put together a poster for the story I wrote, and I'd like to share it.
Can someone tell me how I can post it?
