Today's date is September 9, 2009. In Swedish, that is written as 09-09-09. I guess that's a magical date, whatever else it might mean!

Apparently the Chinese people consider it a sign of good luck because 9 is a special number for them as well.

I thought Chinese was either 07-07-07 or 08-08-08 - was asleep and I forget which...

Regardless, we had a friend have a scheduled C section this morning - she didn't realize what the date was till the doc pointed it out [several months ago...]

I don't know how it is over here but in Germany a lot of couples tend to get married on dates like this. Probably so the men won't forget the anniversaries that easily... Who knows!?
