I was watching an episode of Friends on TV last night and suddenly found myself thinking that Phoebe's Russian-speaking date looked an awful lot like Jim Pirri (ya know... Dan Scardino). Well... turns out it was him. *lol*

So I grabbed the very last scene of the episode, where he's singing in would-be Russian and stuck it on YouTube, just so I could show a couple friends who were online at the time.

I figured I might share with you guys as well, 'cause it's SOOOOO funny.

Wow! I never would have guessed... I'll have to rewatch that ep...

Along the same lines...

I was watching JAG [my sister has the first 4 seasons on DVD] and Mac starts dating this guy and I'm not a Harm/Mac shipper or anything, but something about him just bugged the heck out of me.

I finally IMDB'd it and figured out who he was:

Dr. Maxwell Deter.

Pathetic isn't it?

Weird about the link... I fixed it -- I think. Probably had to do with the fact I was on the "Canadian version" of YouTube. (url started with ca.youtube.com instead of www.youtube.com ) Go figure...

Hopefully you can see it now. smile

Ha! Too funny.

I was watching Alias the other day and there was an evil Russian guy who I hated and guess what... Dan Scardino. He just plain ol' sucks!

You should think of these things as opportunities, not nuisances - coincidences in name and the same actor in different roles are easy sources of inspiration for crossover fics.

Oh, totally! "Cross-over alert" goes off in my mind any time I see actors in different series. Too much fun. smile
