Someone pointed this out on another site which has recently had a lot of "woke up married in Vegas" stories. The Las Vegas marriage bureau plans to close its all-night counter, so it won't be possible in the near future. This isn't a problem for stories set in the 1990s, when L&C actually ran, but will affect next gen stories etc.

"County officials approved a new 8 a.m.-to-midnight schedule that will take effect next Wednesday, eliminating 24-hour marriage license service on Fridays, Saturday and holidays."
