I need to find a website that translates English phrases into romanized Japanese, or just someone (reliable) who will do it for me via email. And that person has to be serious about the translation, not telling me "I have a fish on my head" or something silly.

Still looking for this. Google doesn't have a clue.

Hey TEEEEJ,

I'd probably change my topic line if I were you...something like "Anyone speak Japanese?" or "Japanese Translator needed" Otherwise, most will skip right by it. laugh

That's the thing, I'd rather find a link for a website to translate for me.

I just want the Romanized Japanese versions of some phrases I heard and song from Kill Bill.

Also I have a Poem/Spell that I wrote in Romanized Japanese, but I'm worried about using it in a story in case it gets misinterpreted by some expert out there.

Thus the request for a web link.

Dunno if this is what you wanted, but here you go. Try one of these:

http://www.animelab.com/anime.manga/translate
http://www.freedict.com/onldict/onldict.php
http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html
http://www.trussel.com/f_nih.htm
http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/onlinejdic.html

Romanized Japanese is often called romaji, so I did a google search on "japanese romaji translate"

Hope this helps.

Sorry no. What I need is to have an English phrase translated to Romanized Japanese so I can actually sound it out. All the sites listed either want me to put in the romanized word or the Japanese character so they can translate it to English.

If I could get the updated script of Kill Bill with the Romanized Japanese in it, that would work fine too, unfortunately only the rough draft is available and they only say that the actor is speaking in Japanese.

This is such a weird request I know. Sorry to harp on it so much.

The second link, http://www.freedict.com/,
has an english to romanized dictionary. It's a word at a time type thing.
